China's exports of electronics in Jan-May

According to the latest information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that the first 5 months of this year, China's export of electronic and information technology products were growth of 39%.
Electronic information products exports were US$212.6 billion,accounting for 37.4% of our total exports.
Imports of electronic equipment and IT products, from Januaryto May were US$155 billion, up 49.1% from the same period in2009.Accounting for 29.1% of total imports.
Compared with the first 5 months of last year, exports ofcomputers increased 41.4%, US$79.6 billion. Exported US$33.8billion worth of laptop computers, is the country's largest exportproduct, in this period, 58.7% higher than the same period in2009.
Home appliances and telecommunications equipment exportersUS$32.5 billion and US$34.3 billion, were up 22.2%, than the sameperiod last year respectively.
Mobile phone exports rose by 23.3% year on year to US$16billion, and LCD panels and modules exports surged 79.7%, to US$103million.
