IPC released the newest result for PCB Industry in Apr 2010.

Rigid PCB shipments increased35.7% while orders increased 40.6% in April 2010 from April 2009.Year to date, rigid PCB shipments increased by 14.9% and bookinghave grown 34.0%. Compared with the previous month, rigid PCBshipments decreased 12.3% and 15.7% decline in rigid PCBorder. The book-to-bill ratio for the North American rigid PCBindustry in April 2010 continued its climb to 1.11.
 
In April 2010 Flexible circuit shipments decreased 14.9%, butorders were up $6.6 billion compared to April 2009.Year to date,flexible circuit shipments decreased by 5.5% and orders increasedby 7.0%.Compared with the previous month, flexible circuitshipments decreased by 26.4% and Flex orders declined by 21.5%. TheNorth American flexible circuit book-to-bill ratio in April 2010remained at 0.98.
 
Rigid PCB and flexible circuits combined, in the April 2010industry shipments grew 30.7 % from April 2009, as orders bookedincreased 37.6% from April 2009. Year to date, combined industrysales grew 13.2% and orders increased by 31.8%. To April 2010compared to the previous month, combined industry shipments down13.4% and 16.1% decline in bookings. Combined (rigid and flexible)industry book-to-bill ratio in April 2010 rose to 1.10.
