PCB last results in 2009

 

December 2009 flexible circuit shipments decreased 0.4 percentand orders fell by 27.4 percent, compared with December 2008. Yearto date, flexible circuit shipments decreased 1.1 percent andorders fell 4.9 percent. Compared to the previous month, flexiblecircuit shipments increased by 4.9 percent and flex bookings fellby 2.9 percent.

 

Rigid PCB and flexible circuits combined, in the December 2009industry shipments were down 3.2 percent from December 2008, andthe orders booking in December 2008 increased 22.1%. Year to date,combined industry shipments declined by 21.7 percent and ordersfell 17.2 percent. Compared to the previous month, combinedindustry shipments for December 2009 increased 12.6 percent andbookings went up 21.5 percent. Combined (rigid and flex) industrybook to bill ratio in December 2009 fell but remained positiveat 1.04.
