Theagreement will encompass the jointdevelopment,cross-use ofengineering and manufacturing services aswell ascommon marketingof products for the automotive andindustrialmarkets.
Customers of both companies will benefitfromthecombined strengths of high performance devicesfromNECElectronics, like the 8- to 32-bit microcontrollerseries,togetherwith robust and reliable application-specific,analog/mixed-signal chips from ELMOS.
