Taiwan PCB rise faster : expert

Taiwan's print circuit board (PCB) industry is expected to grow at a faster pace than the rest of the world.
Chen said Taiwan's PCB capacity has reached the world's No. 1, surpassing that of Japan.
He said Japan once had the world's biggest PCB capacity, but that changed after the March 11, 2011 earthquake.
The country's PCB industry took another hit after the Thai floods in the middle of last year.
Chen went on to say the world's PCB industry is expected to grow 6.5 percent this year.
Since Taiwan has developed strong expertise in PCB manufacturing, the industry is expected to grow at a higher rate than the rest of the world, he said.
