German PCB in October
According to ZVEI printed circuit boards and electronic systems, the German PCB industry's total sales fell by 1.6% in October 2010 compared with the previous month. Same period last year, but sales rose 28%. Furthermore, compared with average sales over the past 10 years, October 2010 sales growth of 2%. At the same time, January to October in 2010 cumulative sales increased 34% over the same period in 2009.
New orders in October 2010 confirmed the already expected normalization of orders by year end. Orders received that month was significantly higher than in previous years, exceeding the 10-year average by 26%.
