Global semiconductor manufacturing equipment shipments reached$7.46 billion in the first quarter of 2010. Billings figure was 32%higher than the fourth quarter of 2009 and 142% higher than thesame quarter last year.

Global semiconductor equipment orders $9.41 billion in thefirst quarter of 2010. This figure is 484 percent, over the sameperiod a year ago and 28% greater than the bookings figure for thefourth quarter of 2009.
