The release of 3G licenses inChina led to the wireless data market booms, China's fiscalrevenue rising by 18.9% in 2009 to this service andnearly doubled from 2008 to 2013 , according to iSuppliCorporation.
As a one-year 3G license issuance in China's anniversaryapproaches, wireless data revenues, including messaging andnon-information services, from $ 16.3 billion in 2008, rose to 19.3in 2009. By 2013, data revenue will soar to 31.5 billion U.S.dollars, the annual compound growth rate (CAGR) of 14.1% from 16.3billion in 2008.
Non-messaging revenue soon will exceed messaging revenue ascarriers expand mainstream adoption of 3G services. Non-informationservices revenue in 2013 will reach 20 billion U.S. dollars, up bya factor of three from $6.8 billion in 2008.
