Automobile telematics systems fromthe 2008 global shipments of 193,000 will rise to 84.4 million in2016, according to iSuppli Corporation Survey.

Telematics can improve motoristsafety, convenience and connectivity. To the automotive originalequipment manufacturers, can be added to the remote informationprocessing and improved function, and reduces vehicle warranty andafter-sales service costs. Thus, by 2016, 68.4 million cars willship with telematics systems installed by OEMs, up from 14.3million in 2008.
