The VG51C is a digital signal generator for FPD (Flat Panel Displays). It can be optionally equipped with a parallel RGB output/low voltage digital serial output, and is mainly used as a digital interface of display equipment such as LCDs and PDPs. The VG51C supports resolutions of UXGA and above
It has a parallel output from 10 to 100 MHz in one phase mode (single mode) and from 20 to 200 MHz in two phase mode (dual mode), which supports a dot clock.
There are optional boards for three digital serial output systems (TMDS, LVDS and GVIF), and up to two interfaces can be equipped to suit the system.
Sync signal timing can be freely set by users, giving wide selection of monitors. The resolution can be changed as required, allowing the VG51C to be used as FPD signal source for original resolution.
The VG51C includes a range of built-in patterns, and can read and display 24-bit map files in Windows (R) format via a CARD interface on its front panel.
