Worldwide PC Shipments in 2010
The worldwide PC shipments for2010 in 4Q total was 93.5 million units ,growth 3.1% from 4Q of2009, according to Gartner's preliminary results
HP maintained the NO.1 position in the fourth quarter of 2010worldwide PC shipments, but its shipments grew was below the globalaverage (see Table 1).

Dell's shipment growth better than regional averages acrossmost regions. Lenovo marks the top five vendors in the strongestassociation a year earlier. Lenovo's strength is derived from theprofessional PC market, alternative sourcing, and its continuedefforts to enter the growing consumer market.
In the United States, PC shipments in the fourth quarter of2010 totaled 19.1 million units, down 6.6% compared to fourthquarter of 2009 (see Table 2).

HP continues to lead the U.S. PC market, PC shipments 29.3% inthe fourth quarter of 2010. Gartner's preliminary study shows,Toshiba, and Apple's the only top 5 suppliers, to increase thevolume of shipments of Toshiba rose 14.4%, while Apple‘s shipmentsgrew 23.7%.
In Asia / Pacific, PC shipments reached 27.9 million units,compared with the fourth quarter of 2009 increased by 4.1%points.
In Latin America, the PC market growth 15% in the fourthquarter of 2010, shipments totaled 8.9 million units. Mobile PCshipments grew 17.1% in the quarter, and the table of PC shipmentsgrew by about 12.6%.
PC shipments in Japan in the fourth quarter of 2010 increased3% ,as shipments reached 3.8 million units. This year, worldwide PCshipments reached 350.9 million units, up 13.8 % from 2009 (seeTable 3). This growth rate was an improvement from 2009 when PCshipments increased 5.5%.
