Foxconn will launch 24million units of Apple's latest iPhone 4G with shipments startingin June and will ship 4.5 million units in the first half and 19.5million in 2010, the remaining units. Apple will launch on June 7,2010 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference of the iPhone 4Gtechnology.
The new device will usethe IPS (in plane switching) and FFS (fringe field switching panel)technology, and 960 × 640 resolution, Guo said, and pointed outthat LG Electronics Display and Prime View International are thepanel provider.
By incorporating FFStechnology, which enables a wider viewing angle and clearer visualquality under in sunlight, Apple's goal is to improve the phone'se-book reader functions, to promote its iBook notebook storage. HTCSmartphone hero has passed the technology.
In the iPhone 4G technology will runon ARM Cortex A8 processor and 512MB of Samsung memorymodules, doubling the memory capacity seen in the iPhone 3GSto take advantage of the multi-tasking capability of the iPhone 4.0platform, Kuo revealed.
To solve the battery life, the newiPhone's panel is 33% thinner than previous versions of iPhone, toallow more space for larger battery modules supplied by SimploTechnology and Dynapack International Technology, Kuo said.
